Nature connects us. Ninety percent of plants need mushrooms to live. Mushrooms
connect us and remember everything; they are a living archive of the earth. The
Mycelium is the main body of the mushrooms, a fibrous network that helps plants
grow and sends information, often called “a living internet”
The mushroom in the painting is a Morel, a mushroom prized for its flavour by many
humans. Everything I pained is in a white haze because it is a “memory” it is
the past, present, the future, everything, everywhere all at once. Part of the
cycle of life, death, connection, and comfort.
